31st August 2010 – A day to remember

Tomorrow is going to be many things to me.  It is my parents’ 37th wedding anniversary.  It is also Malaysia’s 53rd year of independence.  It will also be my last day in full-time employment.

One of the things that I have learnt in the past two years living in a strange country, is that change should not be fought with, but should be welcomed.  Change gives you new energy and makes life more interesting.

So, what happens after tomorrow?

Many things.

But mainly….

I start working on a two month tour project.  I start getting my teeth into a longer piece of writing (the plot is poised and ready to be written!) and I start being a writer!

So, watch this space.  There will be much more interesting things to come.
